2025 Kia K5

The 2025 Kia K5 is available in five trim levels: the LXS, GT-Line FWD, GT-Line AWD, EX, and GT. The LXS comes equipped with 16-inch black alloy wheels, LED headlights, and LED daytime running lights. The GT-Line front-wheel and all-wheel-drive models upgrade to 18-inch alloy wheels and add sporty gloss black rear spoilers and front bumpers with gloss black accents. The EX trim builds on these features with LED fog lights and a panoramic sunroof. The performance-focused GT trim stands out with 19-inch multispoke performance wheels, sport quad exhaust tips, and a GT-exclusive front grille design with red accents.

The LXS, GT-Line FWD, GT-Line AWD, and EX trims feature a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The GT trim significantly enhances performance with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The GT also includes an Active Sound Design system that enhances the engine's natural acoustics for a more engaging driving experience.

The GT trim delivers impressive acceleration, reaching 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. The GT-Line AWD achieves the sprint in approximately 7.3 seconds, while other trims complete it in 7.4 to 7.8 seconds. The GT-Line AWD features an active AWD system with torque vectoring for enhanced traction and handling. The GT trim benefits from a sport-tuned suspension, larger brakes, and a specially tuned chassis. All models include Drive Mode Select with Normal, Sport, and Smart modes, while the GT adds Launch Control for optimized acceleration from a standstill.

The K5's cabin features a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system across all trims. GT-Line AWD, EX, and GT models add a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The GT-Line trims come with SynTex seating material, while EX and GT models upgrade to leather seat trim and add heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient interior lighting. A wireless phone charger is also standard on GT-Line AWD and above trims. The EX features a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system. All models include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. As for interior space, the K5 offers 105.3 cubic feet of passenger volume and 15.6 cubic feet of cargo space, with 46.1 inches of front legroom and 35.2 inches of rear legroom.

All K5 models come standard with forward collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane following assist, and safe exit assist. The GT-Line AWD, EX, and GT trims add highway driving assist and navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. EX and GT models include Parking Distance Warning for reverse maneuvers. Other standard safety equipment across the range includes stability control, ABS, emergency braking assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.
